Proje Kavramı
Proje kavramı; benzersiz bir ürün,
hizmet ya da sonuç yaratmak
için yürütülen geçici bir girişim
veya belirli kaynaklarla belirli bir
zaman içerisinde tamamlanması
gereken ve tekrarlanmayan özel
faaliyetler
topluluğu
olarak
tanımlanabilmektedir.
Proje Yönetimi Kavramı
Dünyada proje standartlarını
sağlamak amacıyla 1969 yılında
Amerika’da
kurulan
Project
Management Institute tarafından
“proje ihtiyaçlarını ve beklentileri
karşılamak için bilgi, beceri, araç
ve tekniklerin uygulaması” olarak
tanımlanan proje yönetimi, proje
faaliyetlerine katkıda bulunan tüm grupların, etkin
işleyen bir organizasyon içinde bütünleştirilip,
yönetilmesidir şeklinde de tanımlanabilir.
Proje YönetimOfisi
Mevcut rekabet baskısına karşı, bünyelerindeki
projelerin sayısını ve stratejik önemini artırmak
amacıyla pek çok şirket “Proje Yönetim Ofisi”
(PYO) olarak isimlendirilen bir örgütsel oluşuma
yönlenmektedir. Proje yönetim ofisleri, proje
boyunca projenin idare
edildiği ve yönetildiği
fiziksel mekânlardır. Tüm
destek süreçler ve proje
dokümantasyonu
bu
ofisten sağlanmakta ve
yönetilmektedir.

that should be completed within
a certain period of time and are
not repeated.

Most companies now revert to the organizational
formationtypecalled“ProjectManagementOffice”
(PMO) with the goal of increasing the number
and strategic significance of projects carried out
within the organization to respond to increasing
competitive
pressure.
Project
management
offices are the physical
spaces
where
the
projects are managed and
implemented throughout
project life cycle. All
support processes and
project
documentation
are provided and supplied
from this office.
