Yazılım Testi Nedir?
Yazılım testi; bir yazılım, cihaz veya sistemin tamamının
veya belirli bir kısmının gereksinimleri karşılayıp
karşılamadığını, uygun şekilde hazırlanmış test senaryoları
sayesinde öğrenme ve ilgili ekiplere raporlama amaçlı
yapılan çalışmalardır.

Test süreci sonunda ortaya çıkan raporlamalar yazılım
kalitesinin en önemli parçasıdır. Kaliteli yazılımlar, kabul
edilebilir düzeyde hatasız, planlanan bütçe ile zamanında
bitirilip dağıtılabilen, gereksinimleri ve/veya beklentileri
karşılayabilenve sürdürülebilir özellikleresahipyazılımlardır.
Kalite kavramı göreceli bir kavram olduğundan müşterinin
kim olduğuna ve tasarımda hedeflenen unsurlara bağlı
olarak farklılıklar gösterebilmektedir. Bu nedenle kaliteyi
ölçebilmek için nesnel yöntemler olmalı ve yansız
değerlendirmeler yapılmalıdır.
Yazılım Testi Neden Gereklidir?
Geliştirilen yazılımlarda, insan kaynağı olduğu müddetçe
hata kaçınılmazdır. Kaynağı ve sebebi değişmekle birlikte
çeşitli hatalar ortaya çıkabilir. Test edilecek uygulamanın
kullanım alanı ve önem derecesi göz önüne alındığında,
hatalı bir kod çalıştırılırsa sistem beklenen fonksiyonları
gerçekleştiremez veya başarısız olur. Ayrıca üretilen
yazılımları yeterince test etmeden müşterilerinin hizmetine
sunan firmalar, olası yazılım hataları sonucunda itibar
kaybedecekleri gibi müşterilerine tazminat ödemek
durumunda da kalabilirler.
What is software testing?
Software testing is a collection of activities carried out in the
organization at the individual or team level in order to determine
and learn weather or not the whole or a part of a device or system
meets the requirements using relevant test scenarios and to
report the results to relevant teams.

Software Test”
complete each other.
Reports that come out as a result of the Software Testing
process are the most important component of software quality.
Quality software are those that are error-free at an acceptable
level, can be completed and distributed in a timely manner within
the planned budget, can meet requirements and/or expectations
and have sustainable features. Because the concept of quality is
a relative one, it varies depending on who the customer is and
the factors targeted in terms of design. Thus, there should be
objective methods to measure quality and objective evaluations
should be made.
Why is Software Testing Required?
With the software developed, errors are inevitable as long as
there’s human factor involved. While their sources and reasons
might vary, there may be a variety of errors. When the area of use
and level of importance of the application to be tested is taken
into account, it is clear that in case of running an erroneous code,
the systemwould fail to carry out the expected functions or would
crash. In addition companies that launch their software for use by
their customers without testing them adequately, are faced with
the risk of degrading their reputation and may find themselves in
situations where they may have to indemnify their customers for
the losses or damages they might incur.
